Songs that Inspire - Germantown Chorus

Join us as we close out the 2018-2019 season with our Spring Concert. 
This program will feature songs that inspire in one way or another. 
They could inspire patriotism, faith, imagination, or even make you want to sing along.

A Service of Evensong

Sunday, May 12, 5:30 p.m. at Grace-St. Luke's

You'll have two opportunities to hear the collaborative efforts of the Canterbury Choir of Grace-St. Luke's (Debbie Smith, director) and the Boys and Girls Choir of Calvary (Kristin Lensch, director), one at Calvary and one at Grace-St. Luke's. Music includes Responses by Harry Bramma, David Hogan's buoyant "Washington" Canticles and a beautiful setting of William Blake's poem "The Lamb." William Bradley Roberts, Professor of Church Music at Virginia Theological Seminary, wrote Little Lamb who made thee in 2000.

Feast and Follies: A Choir Cabaret

Enjoy savories, sweets, and drinks while members of the Calvary Choir sing your favorite show tunes. A Friends of Music fundraiser, a limited number of tickets for seating in the Great Hall will go on sale April 1, 2019 on Eventbrite.

Memphis Repertory Orchestra
May 17, 2019, 8pm  
Conductor/Artistic Director William R. Langley and organ soloist Chris Nemec present 
Symphony No. 3 (The Organ Symphony) by Camille Saint-SaĆ«ns, as well as other orchestral 
favorites in another collaboration between the MRO and Music at Lindenwood. 
Free, non-ticketed.
